Hornets end road trip with wins over Kings and Warriors

The Golden State Warriors stepped on the court without Stephen Curry for their match-up against the Charlotte Hornets. It would prove to be a costly lesson in the loss of firepower as the team looked to avoid its sixth loss in seven games.

The Warriors fell to the Hornets 93-87 on Saturday night.

Terry Rozier hit a couple of key buckets with time running out late in the game to help Charlotte over the hump and to another road win in the final game of their West coast swing.

SCORING LEADERS:

Dwayne Bacon - 25 points

Terry Rozier - 20 points and seven assists

Charlotte (3-3) was behind to start the fourth quarter, but a run capped by Malik Monk's follow shot to take an 80-75 lead gave the Hornets the momentum to close out the game. The ending was in line with the primary focal points laid out by head coach James Borrego during training camp.

The Hornets host Indiana on Tuesday.
