Panthers delight fans with Christmas tree-lighting spectacular

The Carolina Panthers’ Tree Lighting, presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors was held on Tuesday night in uptown Charlotte. The free celebration took place outside Bank of America Stadium, on the corner of Mint Street and Graham Street. Panthers fans enjoyed appearances by Sir Purr, the TopCats Cheerleaders, the PurrCussion Drumline, the Black & Blue Crew and Santa Claus. Team owner David Tepper and his wife Nancy were on hand to light the tree to the delight of the massive crowd in attendance. Fans also got to choose from the multiple food trucks on site.

Attendees were treated to free children's activities, festive music and a special visit from Santa Claus.
