There's a new Rhule in the Panthers' locker room and they plan to follow

On Wednesday, the Carolina Panthers officially introduced their newest head coach to the Charlotte community and the sports world. In a press conference held inside the team's practice bubble because it was too be accommodated by the normal media room at Bank of America Stadium, Matt Rhule engaged the crowd of media, former players, team personnel and fans with the same energy described by team officials when they decided to hire him as head coach. "He's just instant energy," Marty Hurney said. "After an hour and a half I said Oh man ...we gotta convince this guy that Carolina is the place for him."

Rhule promised to use every avenue available, including the analytical tools that David Tepper loves so much, to deliver results during his reign as head coach.

Rhule finished the afternoon event wishing the fans well and announcing that they would begin work on building the next version of the Carolina Panthers as soon as today.

"We've already started working ...after we're done, I'm going to take my suit of and get back to work and I promise you'll get my best - keep pounding," Rhule said.
