It's all about giving back for the Carolina Panthers

November 22, 2018

The Carolina Panthers are trying to rebound from some rather tough road losses as they look to land an NFC Wild Card spot.  But despite the pressure to remain focused on the field for what will be a critical game this Sunday, they players and coaches all took time out to spread some Thanksgiving joy.

From the more well know guys on the roster to the rookies, everyone spent time this week giving back to the community.  “We'll sell hopefully a whole bunch of them at the game later on in the season,” Greg Olsen said. “And all that money will go back to help the families here at Levine Children's Hospital.”

Even Head Coach Ron Rivera, turned salesman during his Thanksgiving press conference, featured the beanie hats being sold by Greg Olsen's charity to help the Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte in an effort to continue the holiday spirit.

In the locker room, players also shared some of the holiday dishes they were looking forward to eating later today at their respective family events.

The Panthers are hoping to take advantage of a little home town support as they host Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks this Sunday at 1 PM ET at Bank of America Stadium. Seattle boasts the leagues top ranked rushing attack, averaging almost 155 rushing yards per game.
