Hornets Fall to Pacers

Kemba Walker scored 26 of his 34 points in the second half as the Hornets' comeback attempt fell short against the Indiana Pacers at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Monday, 99-90.

Charlotte was down 16 points at halftime but outscored the Pacers 33-23 in the third quarter. The Hornets found themselves down by one point when Indiana went on a 5-0 run to close the period.

Indiana's 17-3 run to open the fourth quarter spelled doom for the Hornets who have now lost four of its last five games.

Walker scored at least 30 points for the fifth consecutive time which ties a franchise record with Glen Rice (1/15 - 1/24). Cody Zeller scored 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds in his return to Indiana.

Tony Parker sat out with a strained back. The team will most likely rest him until after the All-Star break.

Following Monday's loss, the Hornets fell to 8-20 on the road.
