NC State Pulls off Miraculous Win to Beat Clemson 59-58
CHARLOTTE--Torin Dorn came out firing for NC State but only managed six points on 3-7
performance and a tough Clemson defense. Markell Johnson added ten points for the Pack but not enough to tame the Tiger defense.
The Tigers led by a more balanced scoring attack, anchored by Marcquise Reed's nine points helped the Tigers to a 42-26 halftime lead.
But after a miraculous comeback in the second half, it all came down to a pair of Markell Johnson free throws to notch the 59-58 win for NC State.
